Vend With Lost Boy Cider
We host markets a few times a year at the cidery, and we keep the vendor list small on purpose — enough variety that people browse the whole row, few enough that every booth gets real traffic.

500+ guests last year · Full lot, open to close · 19 of 20 vendors made it

Now Accepting: Fall Fest
Saturday, October 24, 2026 · 12:00–6:00 PM
317 Hooffs Run Drive, Alexandria, VA

Our biggest day of the year. Live music all afternoon, a whole-hog BBQ, free pumpkins, a petting zoo, mulled cider, and around 20 local makers — indoors and out, on our own lot with the parking closed off for the event.

Applications close Friday, September 25. Everyone hears back by Friday, October 2 — accepted or not, we tell you either way.

Last Year
Perfect weather, and it showed. Well over 500 people came through, the parking lot was full, and it stayed packed from open to close. Every vendor but one made it, and the row was busy all afternoon.

Our honest read on it: we were understaffed and running a single indoor bar, so people spent longer in line than they should have. Time in a drink line is time not spent at your table.

What’s Different in 2026
An outdoor bar. New this year, alongside the tasting room. Shorter lines means people are out in the market with a drink in hand instead of stuck inside waiting for one.

More staff, a tighter run of show. Booth numbers and a site map go out the Monday before, load-in is properly staffed, and there’s someone on the floor all day whose job is answering vendor questions.

Who Comes
Alexandria and Del Ray families early, a cider crowd later. It isn’t a walk-through street festival where people pass your table once on their way somewhere else. People park, settle in, eat, drink, and stay two or three hours. They browse slowly and they buy.

If you sell something seasonal, handmade, or giftable, this is a good room.

Two Rules, And They Matter
No beverage sales of any kind. Lost Boy holds exclusive rights to everything poured on the property — cider, water, coffee, all of it. This is a licensing requirement, not a preference.

Please stay the full day. Breakdown starts at 6:00. Booths packing up at 4:30 hollow out the row and hurt every vendor still standing.

What We Ask
Post about it. Tag @lostboycider and we’ll share you back.

We’re not being precious about this — it’s the whole model. We keep the list small so you get traffic, and the traffic comes from twenty makers each telling their own people. The vendors who promote consistently have the best days here, every single time.

Selling Food?
You’re welcome, and you’ll need your own Alexandria Health Department temporary food permit. Applications are due 30 days before the event, so start early — Alexandria Health Department, 703.746.4910.

How It Works
Apply using the form. Takes about three minutes.
We review on a rolling basis. Earlier is genuinely better.
You hear back by October 2, accepted or not.
If you’re in: $75 fee and your insurance certificate within 7 days.
The Monday before you get your booth number, a site map, and load-in details.
Questions
Can I share a booth with another maker?
Sometimes. Email us before you apply so we can look at the mix.

Do I need a business license?
For general merchandise, no — just your certificate of insurance. Food vendors need a health department permit.

Is there wifi?
Don’t count on it. Bring a hotspot, or make sure your card reader works offline.

What if it rains?
We go rain or shine — there’s covered and indoor space, but plan for weather and weight your tent. If we ever have to cancel outright for dangerous conditions, your booth fee carries over in full to our next market. No expiration, no questions.

I applied and haven’t heard anything.
We notify everyone by October 2. If it’s past that, email us — something got lost.

I missed the deadline.
Apply anyway. Spots open up and we keep a waitlist.

Applications close September 25. We keep the list small, so earlier is better.
